Since the release of their last record Chain Letter in 2013, Big Harp has been shaping what we hear in “DIEV”: incredibly catchy, fuzzed out, pop driven creations with a hint of psychedelic dream vibes. For the past four years the husband and wife duo, Chris Senseney and Stefanie Drootin-Senseney, have been managing a life filled with two kids, and a drive to continue creating and releasing art; this time with the best approach of all. “None of our albums are really related to each other. We don’t typically perform back catalog material; in fact, most of our songs have only been performed BEFORE they were recorded. Which could change, if we feel like it.” Says Chris before addressing the release of Waveless on Majestic Litter, which came out on August 14th of this year.

With the addition of drummer Daniel Ocanto, they’re laid back, do-whatever-we-want approach is eminent in this video created by bassists—and previously contracted musician for bands such as Bright Eyes and She and Him—Stefanie Drootin-Senseney who takes us on a perfectly curated trip to a psychedelic universe. Check it out for yourself and catch them in a city near you!
